Okay, so, first off, I'm going to say that PROLOGUE: Pt. 4 is going to be a little different.
Okay, so, first off, I'm going to say that PROLOGUE: Pt. 4 is going to be a little different.
So, I'm gonna try to release a new oneshot tomorrow. I chose the date (November 21) specifically because that was when this particular character had their debut episode! They happen to be one of my favorite characters on the show, so I figured I'd go all out to honor this very special pony. I'll give you a few hints on who it is:
1.) It's not Coco (her debut was in January, which I know because I'm THAT much of a fangirl).
2.) It's not one of the Mane Six.
Well, I say "parts" because I'll probably end up dividing this full-length part into two, since half focuses on Babs and the other half on Coco. Right now, I'm debating about whether or not to separate them. Do any of you have an opinion on whether I should keep them together?
As of Saturday, IGYALL will only have six parts left until the end, and while I know I want to have a shorter Act V, I'm feeling a bit tempted to get rid of the soliloquies/side stories in these two acts. Originally, I'd wanted to do them for every act, and especially for Cameo, but nowadays, all I'm thinking is that these six parts could be better spent in other areas.
I'm working on a little something- some cheap and simple porn with no overarching plot. The concept is simple; Dash is rooting around for something to do at a sleepover at Sunset's place, comes across a deck of cards Sunset didn't know she had, and they find out too late that it's magic (it'll take the readers all of five seconds to figure out who's responsible for this) as it transforms their bodies. They're forced to play until one person achieves ten wins, the losers being transformed each
Ok, so I know everyone getting this has at least had a taste of what kind of horror writer I am. Which is perfect for what I want to ask you guys.
Now, some small part of me told myself that once I was done with Corners I was going to stop writing horsewords entirely. But we all know that's bullshit. :)
I figured that since my Rarity/Coco superhero AU is going to be my last story on FiMFiction, it might be good to get some audience input on this thing. I have the basics fleshed out, but I'd like you guys' input on a title, as well as how you want me to release it. So without further ado, the questions I have planned out for you are:
---How do you want the story to be released?
Since today had just a short intermission and the footnote update, here's a little bit of audience participation for Friendship is Sufficiently Advanced. At some point as time passes - and we may well be approaching Just for Sidekicks in the timeline - our plucky protagonist is going to want to disassemble something to get a nice close-up look at what principles Equestrian technology tends to run on.
* Ask Me Anything, not American Music Awards (like I thought it meant up until a few months ago).
I didn't want to announce it until I was absolutely sure it'd fit into my schedule, but the IYGALL finale will drop at about 6 or so tomorrow night. Since most of the plot points have already been resolved, it'll be a bit more of an epilogue-type episode with some surprises along the way.
There’s only so much that can go into a story, especially one with as many characters as 16 has. So I’m opening the floor to asking these characters questions. Post your reply with any questions you have and Sunny Rays will be happy to answer them (I’ll be editing this blog to add those questions). Sweetie Swirl is our last remaining pony and will have her interview posted when her chapter is done.
Interview subject #15: Sunny Rays
Before I release the new set of parts, I figured that since the questioning thing worked well last time, that I'd ask another. This time, it has more to do with one of the major themes of the story: the theatre. For those theatregoers who may be reading this series, I really hope that I haven't messed up the way things work on set too much, but know that it doesn't work exactly like the Earth system: after all, this is still Equestria. (I have yet to find an IRL equivalent to the Bridleway
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm huge into animated stuff, and MLP is only the tip of the iceberg. And, every once in a while, certain series/movies fire up a creative spark inside me. Problem is, I'm on my third animation-inspired fic idea after seeing Incredibles 2, and I frankly have no clue which one to write. This is where you come in!
I know this could've been titled better but it's the way I am: blunt and straight to the point. Anyways, it says it all: What would you all like from me? Any chapters you've been dying to get? Stories that I've said I'd do but never got to? Anything. Name it and I'll get on it. Not to mention I have all the requests that were made of me almost a year or so ago and I MUST get on those, but aside from that tell me what to write. Tell me what you'd like. Cause to be frank, I feel like my audience
...and it was freakin' twisted. And also surprisingly plot-relevant.
Now, I'm used to having strange dreams about my characters. One of them once involved two of my IRL OC villainesses fusing into a giant dragon. Stuff like that isn't that weird to me anymore. But this thing that happened last night...hoo boy.
NOTE: This schedule is temporary and subject to change. College will be starting back up soon for me, so delays are possible.
Okay. I am adding the words and stuff to the thing. Got 6000ish now. Woot. Now I just have to reread it and see if it matched up with how I wrote things in the first chapter so I don't look like an effing dumba**. And also add like a lot more wordage. I'm kicking this procrastination and depression in it's a** friendos!!!! Kinda sorta. More or less work and focus now are my main problems. I haven't been diagnosed but I probable have mild or minor adhd or something.
